Cafe The Scoop – Visiting One New Coffee Shop a Month 2025 – July

Dear Adventure Avenue,

For July’s coffee shop adventure, we checked out Cafe The Scoop in Long Beach, California! It was a cute shop inside in a strip mall parking lot. The lot was very busy, but there was free street park just past it.

The guy taking my order was super nice and helpful, recommending a couple things on the menu. I went with the Vitamin Tea which was hibiscus tea with some lemon.

I would have liked the tea to have steeped a little longer because I like a strong cup of tea, but the herbal flavors were nice, and I liked the pink color.

My friend got a strawberry matcha and an everything croissant that came with cream cheese inside.

After enjoying our drinks in the cafe, we drove to El Dorado Regional Park which was about a 10 minute drive away.
