Dear Adventure Avenue,
In late March of 2025, I ended up staying the night at the Hilton Charlotte Airport hotel because of some bad weather on the east coast that was going to impact my travels. I flew out a day early and stayed the night at the Hilton Charlotte Airport hotel.
When I landed at CLT (Charlotte Douglas Airport), I was able to pick up the hotel shuttle fairly quickly and headed to the hotel.
I checked into my hotel room and headed up to my room.
I decided to take a walk around the hotel because it was still light out and I could use the exercise after sitting on a plane for the entire day.
The area around the hotel was beautiful! I found a little creek and even saw a beaver!
After my walk, I checked out the gym which I was pretty impressed with! I just rode one of their stationary bikes in there and listened to my tunes. I also had the whole place to myself, which was nice!
I was able to also snag a water bottle for here in here!
After a quick shower in the room, I debated on what to do about dinner. I ended up taking the easy way out and ordering a burger down at the hotel restaurant (as opposed to walking somewhere or DoorDash-ing food).
I took my food to-go and enjoyed eating my burger in my room before going to bed. I had a flight to catch the next morning to Scranton!
