Dear Adventure Avenue,
After taking a flight from Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT), I landed at Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport. Since it was still fairly early in the day, I decided to hit a couple of location inspirations from The Office.
My first stop was Alfredo’s Pizza – NOT Pizza by Alfredo. (If you know you know)

I grabbed a slice of sausage and pepperoni pizza to-go and headed out!
The Scranton Sign
My next stop wasn’t too far away from Alfredo’s – The Scranton sign seen in the beginning of each Office intro scene!
Due to the popularity of the show, they had to move the sign from the road where it used to be and into a nearby mall, The Marketplace at Steamtown (or as it was once called and referenced in The Office, The Steamtown Mall).
I parked across the street in the parking garage. It was hourly paid parking. I was in an out in less than an hour, and it only cost me $1.
It was definitely worth it for me! I got my picture with the sign of my favorite comedy show!
