Dear Adventure Avenues,
On my 2026 Springfield Missouri trip, my dad and I stayed in a 2 Queen bed room at the Doubletree by Hilton Springfield.
The hotel setup is similar to many Embassy Suites that I’ve been to in that the rooms are all fixed around an open first floor.
Our room was on the 8th floor and we had a view of the Walmart across the street. Which brings me to my first positive for this hotel- it is conveniently located. It was on a 15minute drive to the Crystal Cave as well as the baseball game at Route 66 stadium.
Our Room
There was no microwave, but there was a mini fridge.
Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel is not free or included, but as a Gold member, I chose to get the $15 food credit per person which will make breakfast for my dad and I about $3, not including tip.
My dad was hesitant about the breakfast, but we were both so glad we went! They had an omelet station that also made french toast and pancakes. Additionally, they also had a normal continental style breakfast.
Needless to say, we didn’t go hungry!
The staff was also so friendly!! I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel!!
The Pool & Gym
While we didn’t have time to use the pool and gym during our trip, we did check it out!
It was very hard to find both of these though – even with the map on the app – and we did have to ask for help.
