Dear Adventure Avenue,
In July 2026, I stayed at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, a Marriott property in Downtown Dallas. I had my National rental car, so I found the entrance for the underground parking lot and parked pretty close to the North Parking Entrance Elevators which turned out to be a great spot because it was close to my room!
I checked in at the front desk and then promptly went to the first elevator that I could find only to realize it was not the right elevator for my room and I had to transfer elevators.
I finally made it to my room and dropped off my stuff. I had a gotten two queen bed room. It came with a fridge and no microwave. The bed was very comfortable!

My room came with this free daily credit voucher for the eateries in the hotel.
Pool & Gym
The gym was on the way to the pool and it was really big and had a lot of nice equipment!
I checked out the pool with a Spindrift. One of my new favorite Spindrifts is the Nojito!
Eateries
I ate twice at the Open Market. I got the turkey sandwich which was good, and a sausage egg croissant which was not very good.
I also grabbed a mocktail at the Draft Sports Bar and Lounge.
It was a nice hotel and I’d stay here again!
