Dear Adventure Avenue,
Ever since a friend told me about Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas, I have been dying to check it out! This South Dallas Fort Worth area does not have the nicest places to eat generally speaking, so I am always looking for new spots!
Some friends and I checked out The Finch in Epic Central on a recent Texas trip, and I can safely say, it was worth the hype.
We started off our meal with an appetizer of Rocket shrimp. They were popcorn shrimp with an Asian Fusion flare.
For my main course, I decided to go with the Ahi Tuna bowl. It was particularly hot in Texas, so this sounded cool and refreshing – and it was!
For dessert, everyone split a red velvet cookie with ice cream (it was basically a Pizookie). I thought it was a little too rich my tummy.
The best part about The Finch and EpicCentral was the water show. Yes, the water show. The restaurant looked out on a lake that had continuously had water moving around like a Disney water show. At night, the water was lit up and changed colors!
There were a couple other restaurants in EpicCentral, so I can’t wait to go back and try those out as well!
