Dear Adventure Avenues,
I am working to get caught up on my blog posts from 2025, so I will be starting a Throwback Thursday series! Every Thursday, there will be a new post from 2025.
Last year on April 1, 2025, some coworkers and I went to Roma Pizzeria in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
I could tell that this area had once been a hub for coal mining. With this no longer being its main source of employment, I could tell the area is no longer in its heyday.
For dinner, I enjoyed the rolls, French onion soup, hot honey cheese bites, and the toasted ravoli.
I got the spaghetti and meat balls for dinner. It was not my favorite as the sauce was very tomato-paste like and lacked some flavor.
The area is full of industrial revolution charm.
We did have to pay for street parking, which wasn’t too expensive, but it is one of the reasons I would probably not go here again as there are other restaurants closer to where I typically stay in Hazleton, PA that I like better. If I was passing through this area, I could see myself stopping in.
