On our first day in Big Bear, we went out to lunch at Big Bear Brewing Company.
We all shared The Original Avocado Bomb as an appetizer which wasn’t quite what we were expecting. It was basically a deep fried avocado with spicy canned tuna on top.
For my meal, since it was a bar and usually you can’t go wrong with wings in a bar, I got the wings. I was not disappointed.
Overall, I thought the food was not anything to write home about and it was expensive for what you got. This makes sense given the fact that it is on a mountain where it’s harder to get supplies up here. I think next time I’d prefer to stick to a home cooked meal at the AirBnB.
