Dear Adventure Avenue,
On a recent trip to the Dallas, Texas area, I ate at Mi Dia From Scratch in Flower Mound with my godmother. I loved how everything on the menu was made in house, from scratch.
We stated off with some free chips and salsa. The salsa had a bit of a kick to it.
For my main course, I went with the Create Your Own Combo which allowed me to chose two things for $15.50 which was quite a good deal. I got a tamale and a shredded beef taco with caramelized onions. The plate came with beans and rice!
For dessert, we shared a platter of the sopapillas! These were like little beignets with cinnamon, powdered sugar, and a honey topping!
I would definitely come back to Mi Dia From Scratch! The food was so good!
