McKinney Farmers Market + Chestnut Square Heritage Village

Dear Adventure Avenue,

On a recent trip to Texas, I stayed with my Godmother and we had the best time exploring new to me places around the greater Dallas area. We decided to go to the McKinney Farmers Market which also is home to the Chestnut Square Heritage Village, a collection of historic houses.

Before making our way to the Farmers Market, we first had to stop at my favorite tea spot: HTeaO! I got a Watermelon iced tea!

We popped into the first historic house we saw and talked to docent Deb there and learned all about all the ice cream makers in there.

After checking out the ice cream makers and using the free bathrooms, we went and checked out the Farmers Market.

It was getting pretty hot as we were walking around, so after making our rounds, we decided to head out and go to lunch at Toasted Walnut in Celina.

Until next time,

A
