Cotton Patch Cafe + Cowgirl Boots – Denton, Texas

Dear Adventure Avenue,

In September, I went to Texas a couple of times, and on one of those trips, I decided it was time to get some cowgirl boots! Now, you can easily drop $300-$500+ on cowgirl boots, and since I wasn’t sure how much use I’d actually get out of my boots – not to mention that’s a little out of my price range – I decided to go to go to Boot Barn with my Godmother and her sister.

I pretty much tried these on and nothing else compared, so I got these for just under $185.

I almost got these cuties too, but they had a bit more of a heel to them, so I went more with cute function. But I definitely took a picture of these in case I decide I do in fact need them.

Cotton Patch Cafe

After buying my new favorite shoes, we went and ate at Cotton Patch Cafe across the road. Our meal started with some warm biscuits.

We got these fried mushrooms, and OMG they were delicious. They kindof reminded me of the fried zucchini at Carl’s Junior for some reason.

I got the chicken fried chicken with fried okra and green beans, but they accidentally gave me mashed potatoes on my plate.

The green beans had little bits of bacon in it and were quite salty.

I ate about half of my fried chicken and took the other half to go. I had it for breakfast the next morning, and it was still quite good!

Until next time,

A
