Best Mint Mojitos (non alcoholic)

Dear Adventure Avenue,

Ever since I went to the South of France and tasted a (non alcoholic) mojito at the Negresco, it has been one of my favorite refreshing beverages. The other day the heat of summer seemed to be upon me, and I was wishing I was at the Negresco or in Hawaii drinking a nice cold beverage. But alas, I am stuck at home. Since my mint plant has decided to be a productive little plant, I decided to make my own mint mojito.

Ingredients:

Steps:

1. Cut lime in half.

2. Squeeze lime juice into a small bowl.

3. Put 3 teaspoons of lime juice in the base of your glass.

4. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar into the base of your glass.

5. Stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved into the lime juice.

6. Fill your glass up with ice.

7. Add Perrier to fill the glass. (Leave a little room for the next part).

8. Add mint leaves.

9. Move the spoon up and down (I used an ice tea spoon like these) to mix the mint into the drink.

10. Add 1-3 teaspoons of sugar to taste. (I ended up doing 2 teaspoons).

11. Move the spoon up and down again to mix the sugar into the drink.

12. Enjoy your ice cold beverage!

This recipe makes one 16 ounce beverage.

Enjoy,

A
