Dear Adventure Avenue,
In May, I went to Coffee Dose in Costa Mesa, California for my one new Coffee Shop a month goal. This was a fun, though not very kid-appropriate coffee shop with some interesting beverage options.
I got the Cosmic Root Beer Elixir that was made with chaga mushrooms. It was supposed to “boost immunity, lighten mood and curb sugar cravings”. I thought it tasted just like root beer! My friend got the Matcha and enjoyed it.
We sat and drank our drinks at the cute bar counter. It was a little loud in here and very busy! We were there around 12. They also serve brunch here, so that could have attributed to the crowd!
All in all, a fun and different cafe spot!
