Dear Adventure Avenue,
This year, I went to Disneyland’s After Dark Star Wars Nite on April 24, 2025. If you want to compare this trip to last years, I’ve linked it here.
We parked in Mickey and Friends parking structure and walked into the park through Downtown Disney.
We made a pit stop at the Lego Store because they were doing a FREE lego build for an F1 steering wheel:

After the lego build, we headed into the park. We were able to bypass the really long special event line because we had both made reservations for the day that allowed us to enter the park before the 6pm event opening time.
We then went straight to Galaxy’s Edge to pick up our event badges, wristbands, and event maps. The badge pickup was located at the Galaxy’s Edge entrance closest to Red Rose Tavern.

Last year, we’d missed out on the merch because it sold out so quickly. This year, we made a beeline for the merch. There was a not very crowded line in the backstage store near Smuggler’s Run in Galaxy’s Edge.

After picking up the merch, we had a couple hours to kill before our mobile ordered food would be ready at 8pm, so we walked around the park to see what was out.
They had all the movie posters from all the Star Wars films. I took pictures of the first 6 plus Rogue One and the original Star Tours Ride poster.

We stopped by the Jabba the Hutt photo booth and even though it was before 9pm, they took my picture with Jabba!
At 8pm, we picked up our mobile ordered dinner. I got the Taste of Daiyu City which was had mac n cheese in a corn disk topped with a piece of corn on the cob, slaw, and sausage.

After eating dinner, we walked out of Galaxy’s Edge towards the Haunted Mansion so I could pick up my Magic Key freebie. It was three buttons made specially for Star Wars Nite. We also went on Haunted Mansion since it was a walk on.
We then went to wait to see Queen Amidala and we wanted to see Anakin as well. We got in line and saw Queen Amidala almost right away. Then we waited for about 20 minutes and finally saw him right at 9:30.
By this point, the mobile order for the Galactic Princess Sundae was ready. My friend picked it up while I waited in line at the Mustafar photo spot for us. The sundae was at the Golden Horseshoe. The cinnamon rolls were a little dry, but all together it was pretty good.

We ate the sundae on our way over to Tomorrowland and in line while we waited to meet Darth Vader. It took us about 40 minutes to wait and meet Darth Vader – which was shorter than the hour the cast members quoted us as we waited.

After Darth Vader, we went and met Sabine and Chopper.
We took more photo ops and went on Alice in Wonderland because it had NO WAIT!

We passed by the River’s of America and saw the live band playing there as well as the Cantina band out on the River during their set break.
We then headed back to Galaxy’s Edge to see what characters we’d find out and about. C3PO was there and I was able to take a picture with him.

By midnight, we’d seen everything we wanted to, so we went to secure spots to see the Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga projection show at 12:30. We stood in the spot overlooking the Falcon. The lighting and projections were very cool, but I wish there was a bigger focus on the music.

After the projection show, we went to Tomorrowland to get a Wookie Cookie and see the droids that were out.

All in all, it was a good night! We left feeling very accomplished and like we saw everything we wanted to see.

Until next time,
A
P.S.
I put all the food I got down here:
