Back in August, I went to Jeffersonville, Indiana for business which is right next to Louisville, Kentucky. It was my first time in Indiana and Kentucky!
Dear Adventure Avenue,
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Jeffersonville, Indiana. I’d never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, but I found this one to be very much like an Embassy Suites – complete with a free buffet breakfast!
But before checking in, DINNER!
If you arrive in Louisville late (or accidentally fly into Indianapolis and have to drive down), note that most things close at 9pm – which even includes fast food places like McDonalds. Really close to the hotel is Drakes which is a restaurant bar and it was open late. I had the sliders and some chips, salsa, and guacamole.
The Hotel
There was a microwave, Keurig, and a refrigerator.
The bathroom only had a shower with hot water that went in and out, and the water pressure wasn’t great, but otherwise, I didn’t have any complaints!
Until next time,
A
