Dear Adventure Avenue,
In the beginning of August, a friend and I stayed at the Irvine Hyatt Regency in Orange County, California. We stayed in a two queen room with Club Access. It was a fun hotel stay-cation!

Breakfast pastries 
The lemon bars were good, though not as good as a family friend’s homemade ones. 
They had pellet ice!!

Saturday night seems to be chicken curry and rice. Friday night was pasta but we missed it. 
Breakfast had fruit, toast, eggs, and potatoes 
This was like a carrot butter cake – Delicious!!
Pool
I didn’t get any really good pictures of the pool because it was super crowded when we were there. It’s a wading pool that only goes to about 4 feet and starts at zero feet, kindof like a shore. There were also water slides, but these were very small and went into a tiny pool that was pretty shallow. There was also a hot tub.
I ordered a pizza outside at the pool which was average.

When my mom went to this hotel, she grabbed decaf coffees in the lounge and enjoyed them in the evening around the fire pits.
Nearby Coffee Shop – Lion and Lamb Coffee Roasters
If you don’t have Club Access or are craving something a little different than the Club level offerings, Lion and Lamb Coffee Roasters is a short drive away. I got a delicious Chai Tea iced latte.
