Dear Adventure Avenue,
Downtown Louisville has so many fun places to eat dinner at, and La Bodeguita de Mima is definitely one of them! This Cuban restaurant is housed in a yellow house.
Parking can be found next to the restaurant or on the street. I ended up parking in an alley a block from the restaurant for free.

The interior of this restaurant is full of interesting thing to look at, including ornate mirrors and chandeliers.

We got quite a couple appetizers including Papas Rellenas (the balls) and Cubanchos (plantain chips).

For dinner, I got Pollo al Mojo which was served with rice, black beans, and sweet plantains.
For dessert, we enjoyed a tres leches cake.
If it’s your birthday, they come out with all the instruments and sing to you! It would definitely be a fun place to go on your birthday!
Until next time,
A
