Time for Change Plus a New Avenue You Don’t Want to Miss!

Dear Adventure Avenue,

Some change has begun to occur at A’s Adventure Avenues. Before I go into more details, let me first provide you with this blog’s backstory. It all started as a way for me to dip my toes into the blogging world and to teach myself the basics of social media. I have always loved reading other people’s blogs and wanted to try my hand at it. My idea for content was based on the fact that I always kept a travel journal when I vacationed, and I wanted to share those vacation stories and pictures in a format that was easy to share. That’s when A’s Adventure Avenues was born. The blog itself I knew would eventually grow to include more than just travel (hence the avenues).

During the pandemic, my travel content was replaced by gardening, books, and money-making side hustles. As we come out of these unprecedented times, I noticed that my home Instagram page (@asadventureavenues) lacked cohesiveness and structure.

I am currently taking a social media marketing class at my university, and it bothered me that my niche was not defined on Instagram. My page wasn’t growing because it was all over the place, so I am going to make some changes. Don’t worry, if you are not an active participant on Instagram, my blog will still continue with all the content that covers my various avenues including my animals’ avenue and my reselling avenue.

The biggest change is that my Instagram page @asadventureavenues is going to become strictly a travel themed page because that’s what it was always meant to be. On this page, I will share all the pictures from my travel adventures.

Something New

I also wanted to bring something new to the table. I’m calling it my “Antiquated Adventures”. If you know me, then you know I am a fan of old-fashion living and long since forgotten skills and arts. This will encompass a variety of things, but it will all be rooted in times gone by. Some examples of what you might see here are gardening, cooking and baking, DIY projects, and books. These will be reflected more and more in the blog as I make new discoveries.

I do hope you will come along with me on this journey to explore times gone by and learn alongside me.

Sincerely,

A
