Dear Adventure Avenue,
It was our very last day in Paris, so my mom and I decided to walk over to Eric Kayser for some pain au chocolats.
As we stepped outside of our hotel, the streets were not yet full of the hustle and bustle of daily city life. As we began to cross the almost empty street towards the boulangerie, something magical happened: it started to snow.
Our faces lit up at the romantic notion of being in Paris as snow fell. The flakes melted as they touched our cheeks and the cobblestone streets while we made our way around the corner for our pastries.
As we stood in the warm bakery, we watched the snow fall a little harder outside, creating a memory that would last forever.
The Airport
The one slight concern with the snow was that we were flying out, and if there was too much snow, are flight could be cancelled. On this first day of April, I was glad the snow didn’t stick for too long, and we were able to fly home.
All in all, a wonderful trip in Paris, France.
Until next time,
A
