Day 4
July 13, 2019
Dear Adventure Avenue,
After some breakfast bagels, we stopped at McDonalds for my brother and my mom on our way to D. T. Fleming’s beach. This beach is good for boogie boarding. My dad, brother, and I all got some good waves. My dad and I were out there for an hour and a half.
We went back to the hotel for Hawaiian roll sandwiches in our room. (We had gotten stuff to make them at Costco.)
Later we went outside and played shuffle board. There’s a board conveniently located right outside our room.
For dinner we went over to the Marriott and took advantage of the happy hour at Ka’anapali Grille and Tap Room. I had some delicious coconut shrimp.
We then walked down to the Hyatt and had shave ice at Ululani’s. They have the best coconut shave ice! There is this creamy layer of coconut on the outside of the ice and the rest of the juice soaks into the ice. So good!
On our way back to our car we stopped inside the Marriott hotel and saw the giant game boards. They had scrabble, chess, and checkers.
