Mom's Easy Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of pasta
  • 16 ounce container of cottage cheese
  • 8 ounce bag of shredded mozzarella cheese about 1.5 cups shredded cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar of pasta sauce I used Rao's
  • Water save the pasta jar to measure the water!

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Dump box of pasta in casserole dish (about a 13inx9in)
  • Dump Cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese into the pan and mix together
  • Shred and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top and mix again
  • Dump the pasta sauce in and mix
  • Fill the pasta sauce jar about 3/4th of the way full and dump into the pan. (I shook the jar to make sure to get all the loose sauce out of the jar).
  • Mix everything together and make sure the pasta is all underneath the water. (If it isn't, smooth out so it is, or add a tad more water).
  • Bake covered with foil for an hour.
  • After an hour, remove foil and check it. If it still looks soupy, cook at 5 minute intervals until the cheese is just starting to brown and most of the liquid is gone.
