Another simple but delicious dish brought to you and I by grand-mere, these leeks go great with the poulet aux tomates recipe or whatever you’re fancying! In case you’re like me and just tried leeks for the first time – they’re kinda like onions!
This recipe is easily adjustable to serve as many people as you like – you’re just going to be making layers!
Jump to RecipeIngredients
- Leeks – enough to cover whatever sized pan you plan to use
- Butter or olive oil (I used butter) – just enough to grease the pan
- Breadcrumbs – enough to cover the leeks
- Parmesan cheese – enough to cover the leeks (very specific – I know)
- Pepper to taste (optional)
Steps:
- Cut the bottom white part of the leek in half and rinse really well! They can have a lot of dirt in them!
- Line your pan with the leeks on a greased oven safe pan.
- Add bread crumbs (or just some crushed up crackers if that’s all you have- it works trust me!)
- Top with some parmesan cheese
- Stick it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-25 minutes or until the top is a nice golden brown.
- Add pepper to taste.
Enjoy!
