How I Adventure in Walt Disney World 2022 – Day 1

My family went on a trip to Walt Disney World during Thanksgiving break where we stayed at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas. Our room and restaurant reservations were all booked by Hannah Little who is a FABULOUS Disney Vacation Planner. I’ve linked her website here. She’s amazing! We had the best time and were able to do everything we wanted to do and more.

Dear Adventure Avenue,

We left in the wee hours of the morning to head to LAX. Luckily, we have lounge access thanks to my mom. I was able to have a spot of tea and a bite to eat there.

We boarded the plane and were ready to leave when someone came over the loudspeaker to say, “Please remain in your seats so we can depart.” I looked behind us and low and behold, there was someone not listening and digging through their suitcase looking for who knows what. That person finally sat in their seat and then we were able to take off. 

Not too long into our flight, the pilot came on to let us know that it was going to get a little bumpy after we were jostled around for a spell, and then nothing. After his warning, it was a smooth flight to Florida. I was able to enjoy my coffee flavored tea and biscuit on the plane. 

We’re going to DISNEY WORLD!

We were picked up by our Meers private shuttle and headed to our hotel, the Boardwalk. We dropped off our stuff and headed to Epcot! Our first ride was Living with the Land which is one of my favorite calm rides. I love to see all the different ways they’re growing plants. 

After we walked right on to the Finding Nemo ride.

Then we walked on to Spaceship Earth. 

We had reservations for 7:30 at the new Space 220, but it still wasn’t quite time, so we went to Club Cool and tried all the different Coca-Cola flavors from around the world. The Beverly was terrible. Our favorites were the Royal Watermelon, Viva, Country Club, and Bon Bon Anglais. 

Then it was time to go to Space 220. You can read more about that here as I don’t want to spoil it if you want to be surprised. 

After dinner, my dad, brother, and I rode Test Track using the single rider line which was pretty short. That ride is always great if you haven’t ridden it in a while. We then headed back to our hotel to go to sleep.
