Huntington Beach Day 3
Dear Adventure Avenue,
My family and I were planning on taking a week-long vacation to Hawaii. We were going to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor. Then we were going to head over to Maui. Unfortunately, there was still a 14 day quarantine, so we could go to Hawaii – we’d just be stuck in our room the entire time. Instead we chose to go to Huntington Beach – a destination that wasn’t an ocean away. This is the third and final day of our three day adventure. Check out Day 1 and Day 2 in case you missed it.
Breakfast
We went down for breakfast at the hotel restaurant again. Everyone got the same thing they had yesterday except for me! My brother’s pancakes and fruit plate looked so delicious yesterday that I had to have it for myself! I also enjoyed a pot of mint tea.
Fun and games
It was too cold and overcast for us to go down to the beach or pool before we left, so we decided to play some games of Rummy.
Last Minute Packing
After many games of Rummy we realized that we only had 30 minutes to pack up all our stuff before we had to leave the hotel.
Most of our stuff was already packed up thanks to last night, so we mostly did a run around the room looking for all our phone chargers.
Huntington Beach, you may not have been Hawaii, but you satisfied my summer travel bug bite!
