Where to Stay in Paris: Hotel du Louvre Hotel and Room Tour

At the end of March, I went on a trip to Paris, France and documented how I had the best French vacation. Follow along on my day-to-day adventures in Paris! Our hotel helped make it possible for us to easily get to different places around Paris!

Dear Adventure Avenue,

We all stayed in the Hotel du Louvre which as the name suggests was next to the Louvre! It was also very close to several metro stations making it an easy place to get around Paris. It was also across the street from the Comedie Francaise and just down the street was the Paris Opera.

In House Food and Drink Options

Downstairs there was a hotel bar; however, for the first couple of days we were there it was closed due to a Netflix show being filmed. It has a conservatory aesthetic.

There was also a Brasserie in conjunction with the hotel, but we never went there as there were better (and less expensive options available close by).

There were lots and lots of stairs, but luckily there was also an elevator.

Two Twin Bedroom

My mom and I stayed in the Two Twin Bedroom. Our room overlooked a large square sandwiched between the Louvre and a government building. In the square were some of the metro stops.

The bathroom also had a towel warmer! Unfortunately, ours wasn’t working for the first couple of days, and we didn’t ask how to use it until the last few days.

Pissarro Suite

The Pissarro Suite is where grand-mere stayed, and this room was quite grand. It consisted of a main room with a hallway leading to the bedroom as well as two bathrooms.

The view out this window was the Paris Opera.

Behind this door was the bathroom.

The master bedroom at the end of the hall.

The master bathroom had a claw foot tub and shower.

Behind the door was the WC.

I hope you have enjoyed the room tour! Please be sure to check out the other days in my 2022 Paris, France adventure!

Sincerely,

A
