Huntington Beach Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort Tour

Dear Adventure Avenue,

In August my family and I went and stayed at the Huntington Beach Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort for a mini vacation. We were very impressed with the steps the hotel had in place in response to COVID during our stay on the property.

Resort Tour

When we arrived, valet services greeted us and took our car to park. They were all wearing their masks. We had to load our luggage onto a luggage cart ourselves and bring it to our room.

Hotel Lobby

A fountain greets you as you walk in the main doors. Two staircases frame the entry way.

Signs were in place to remind guests to wear their masks.

To the right is the concierge and to the left is the check in and the elevators.

The Pools

There is a pool up the stairs from the lobby and outside.

This fountain is in front of the pool upstairs from the lobby:

The other pool has two water slides. Unfortunately due to COVID the slides were both closed. The hot jacuzzi was also closed for the same reason. Both pools have a gorgeous view of the ocean.

My family and I spent all our pool time at the slide pool because it was close to our hotel room.

Heading to the Room

Heading to and from the room usually resulted in seeing at least one maid card in the brightly colored hallway.

The Room

We stayed in the newer side of the resort: the Dolphin Tower. When you walk in, there was a spacious living room with a pull out couch. (Although I found the long part of the couch was very comfortable to sleep on).

The bedroom was to the right.

The bedroom also had a TV hanging on the wall.

The bathroom included two sinks, a shower, and some shampoo, soap, and conditioner amenities.

Oh! And of course a toilet room!

The flow of the room is circular, so the bathroom is to your right as you walk in the door.

Finally there was a mini fridge that we used to put in some of our delicious leftover pizza from Zero Zero Pizzeria.

The Second Room

After the incident with our first room (you can read all about it here), we got a second room which was the reverse of our previous room.

This room had a better view.

I hope you have enjoyed this resort tour of the Huntington Beach Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort!

Sincerely,

A
